Title:
How does VECO support cocoa production worldwide?
Body:
In all our cocoa projects, it is essential to invest in increasing productivity and quality: new cocoa trees, better soil management, appropriate post-harvest and processing techniques, as well as improved storage capacity and transport. Through improved agricultural practices, farmers achieve a higher yield, reducing production cost and therefore leading to higher incomes. By strengthening the organizational skills of farmers, they will be able to market collectively and sell their good quality cocoa beans for a better price. This is possible only when farmers, companies and development organisations collaborate and invest more in sustainable cocoa production.
