Rikolto (formerly VECO/Vredeseilanden) is an international NGO with more than 40 years of experience in partnering farmer organisations and food chain actors across Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Rikolto runs programmes in 15 countries worldwide through eight regional offices. Learn more about our different projects...

Rikolto has been using Salesforce for two main purposes: as a Customer Relations Management tool and as a database that keeps track of its programmes through network-wide and region-specific progress reports. Last year, we conducted an in-depth survey regarding the use of Salesforce in the different Rikolto regions. One of the points that came out of this survey was the need for more user-friendly input mechanisms for the input of baseline, target and observed values of indicators in the project section of our programme database.

We are therefore looking for a consultant who can develop a standardised Excel template that would be the common denominator between the local data storage mechanisms and the Salesforce data entity.

Scope of work

  1. Design a functional indicator mapping tool
  2. Develop a standardised Excel template that allows the import of indicator data from local data files into Salesforce
  3. Make adjustments in Rikolto’s Salesforce database (only if strictly necessary)
  4. Build relevant reports on indicators
